FAQ

What to expect from therapy.

If you’re unsure about anything—fees, timing, how it works—you can always ask during your consult call.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is mainly about getting to know you and what brought you here. We’ll talk about what’s been hard, what you’d like to change, and how we might work together. You’re always in charge of what you share.

How often will we meet?

Many people start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Over time, some shift to monthly check-ins. We’ll decide together based on your goals, energy, and financial situation.

Do you offer lower-cost or student rates?

A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for students and folks facing financial barriers. You’re welcome to ask about availability when you reach out.

Is therapy covered by insurance?

Many extended health plans cover services with a Registered Psychotherapist. We provide receipts you can submit for reimbursement. It’s helpful to check your specific plan for details.
